Science is a way of thinking much more than it is a body of knowledge.” – Carl Sagan.
Science
“Our future, I believe depends on people using science in decision-making. Science is the pivot of wonders in our world, which can push students to improve their learning abilities. The Department of Science consists of four teachers and comprises 3 subjects, namely Basic Science, Chemistry and Biology. The hard-working department members are also shouldering the responsibility of teaching family Life education to the students.
The department is fully committed to embracing the teaching challenges posed to them on a daily basis. While designing the lesson sequence, teachers include prior knowledge of students, the different learning abilities and the different cultural backgrounds of the students. Real-life examples and strategies such as discovery learning, project-based learning and group work that promote life-long learning, and questions and activities that promote critical thinking are mandatorily incorporated into the lesson of teachers.
